Best Ever Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup light or regular sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
Instructions
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add egg and beat well.
- Stir together sour cream, salt, baking soda; blend into butter mixture.
- Add flour and corn meal. Stir well.
- Spread mixture into greased 8" square baking pan.
- Bake in preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
