Chinese Salad

Ingredients

Dressing

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar or apple cider
  • 2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup oil

Salad

  • 1 large head of Napa cabbage, cut up
  • 6 green onions, cut finely
  • 2 packages of chicken flavored Ramen noodles
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 package slivered almonds
  • 1 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Mix together cabbage and onions. Refrigerate for several hours.
  2. Crush Ramen noodles in package. Melt margarine in large skillet, add Ramen noodles, sesame seeds, almonds, and brown. Stir frequently. Drain on paper towels. Add to vegetables.
  3. Mix together all ingredients of salad dressing and shake. Add dressing when ready to serve.
