Pear Royale Salad

Fruit and jello, ahh...

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces cranberry-raspberry, cranberry, or raspberry flavored gelatin (2 packages)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 16 ounces whole cranberry sauce (1 can)
  • 29 ounces pear halves, drained and chopped (1 can)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water, lemon juice, and cranberry sauce.
  2. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg white.
  3. Fold in pear pieces and pecans.
  4. Pour into lightly oiled 7-8 cup mold, pretty serving dish, or 9" x 13" pan.
  5. Chill until firm and then unmold, if molded garnish with fresh greens.

Notes

Can use the 6 cup Tupperware gelatin mold
