Quick poppy seed bread

Ingredients

Bread

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/8 cups cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons almond flavoring
  • 2 teaspoons butter flavoring
  • 2 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons poppy seeds

Glaze

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all of bread ingredients together.
  2. Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans at 325° for 1 hour or when a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Combine glaze ingredients and mix well. Pierce top of bread with a fork and spread glaze on.
