Pumpkin Pie

Its pumpkin pie, like I said...

Ingredients

  • Crisco pastry for 1-crust pie
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry. In bowl, combine sugar, salt, and spices. Stir in pumpkin and honey. In saucepan, heat milk; add with eggs to pumpkin mixture; blend thoroughly. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°. Bake 35 minutes more.
