Rice by Sherry

Ingredients

  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Minor's chicken base or, if you cannot find that, Wyler's Chicken Bouillon granules
  • 2 Tablespoons safflower oil

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a 6 to 8 quart stockpot. Bring to boil and then turn down to simmer for 15 minutes. Stir a couple of times while simmering.
